Hi, my name is Jacob
I’m a Mechanical Engineering student based in Spokane, Washington.
I build, break, and rebuild — turning challenges into working machines.
Intro
My projects range from car transmissions and motocross engines to thrust-vectoring rockets and automated electronics. This portfolio showcases the work that has shaped me as an engineer: hands-on mechanical rebuilds, embedded systems, and control projects. At the core, I’m motivated by persistence and curiosity, the drive to figure things out, no matter how challenging or messy the process may be.
Mission
My mission is to make the world better through engineering. Everyone has something to offer, and for me, it’s designing, building, and problem-solving.
I believe engineering is about more than fixing what’s broken; it’s about creating solutions that make a real impact. My focus is on building systems that work, learning from failures, and always pushing to understand the ‘why’ behind every design.
